Writing without Discipline

This IN-PERSON session is available to PGRs and staff from the University of Liverpool. When registering for this event please ensure you use your University email address as non-University email registrations will be removed due to capacity restrictions, thank you.

How can writing change your thinking? And how can understanding how people write, change the way you think about and approach writing?

This interactive workshop uses video and face to face materials to help participants get to grips with creative writing methods and techniques to introduce new ways of building writing into your daily routine.

It will introduce creative writing concepts to researchers working in any and all disciplines, as a way to support people who felt tense, anxious, about writing, or had fallen into a negative relationship with their writing.

Session outcomes:

The workshop will provide a framework for understanding how writing is constructed, discuss tools you can use to approach your writing and help you to think creatively about your writing habits

As part of this workshop, you will have the opportunity to write abstract for publishing in Journal of Imaginary Research: https://journalofimaginaryresearch.home.blog/
